Welcome to Stuart State School. We are a coeducational school, located in Townsville, North Queensland. The school was established in 1891. Our school is unique in that it serves as a hub for many outlying areas including Cungulla, Alligator Creek, Mt Elliot, Oak Valley, Wulguru and Stuart. Stuart State School has a history of forging and maintaining productive partnerships with businesses and organisations in the surrounding areas. |
Our school currently has approximately 70 students enrolled from Prep to Year 7. Some of our distinctive features include an ongoing commitment to making information technology an integral part of the learning program, delivery of a relevant and stimulating curriculum, active and engaging classrooms and a range of programs for students with special needs. We pride ourselves on working with students, parents and carers and the school community to deliver a world class education.
Stuart State School works closely with the other schools in the Mt Stuart Cluster to facilitate quality teaching and learning programs for students, staff members and parents. |
